Meta ASIC Engineer, Performance Architect in Austin, Texas

Summary:

Meta is hiring Performance Architect ASIC Engineers within our Infrastructure organization to build cutting edge ASICs in fields such as machine learning, video transcoding and network acceleration. We are looking for talented individuals with deep experience that spans one or more of the key areas required to build successful world-class complex SoC and IP for data center applications.

Required Skills:

ASIC Engineer, Performance Architect Responsibilities:

  1. Performance Architecture and Modeling for Accelerators

  2. Architecture exploration for compute Accelerators

  3. Micro-architecture development

  4. Collaboration with Design, verification and emulation teams in test plan development and debug

  5. Collaboration with compiler teams to deliver industry leading performance for the accelerators

Minimum Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience.

  2. 18+ years of experience in designing and delivering performance architectures for compute and graphics SOCs

  3. Performance tuning for complex compute IPs

  4. Experience in Cycle Accurate Performance modeling

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Experience in CPU, Graphics, NOC, Memory and Peripheral Subsystems

  2. Experience with ML workloads and architectures

  3. Master’s or PhD degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or related areas

Public Compensation:

$262,000/year to $334,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
