Internal Software Engineer Responsibilities:
Design, develop, modify, or test analytics and software applications for to enable millions of advertisers that use Meta products and services to connect with their customers and communities.
Build software to enable sales and marketing teams to help our customers grow their business through tools and automation.
Design, build, and maintain core backend and frontend software components, following standard software engineering processes to design, develop, document, review, test, inspect, and release code.
Build software in the Meta stack using Hack (PHP), React (JavaScript) and Python, producing high quality code with good test coverage with modern abstractions and frameworks when appropriate.
Use engineering skillsets in a business organization to drive meaningful business impact by looking at problems through an operational lens.
Partner with cross-functional product and analytics teams to influence and contribute to the direction of large scale strategic projects as well as solve ongoing operational problems at scale.
Communicate progress and plans, raising critical issues with peers, manager, and cross-functional partners.
Execute and complete tasks on well scoped projects with minimal supervision applying judgement and problem solving skills.

Requires a Master's degree in Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Construction Management, or a related field. Also requires 48 months of work experience in the job offered or in a related occupation. Experience must include 48 months involving the following:
Engineering best practices
High-level software performance optimization and troubleshooting bottlenecks
Driving technical projects and providing leadership direction in an innovative and fast-paced environment
Identifying system design and tradeoffs between approaches
Hack, PHP, React, JavaScript, or Python
Identifying ways to improve software components or systems to facilitate development of new features
Software engineering in React, GraphQL, or Relay and
Communicating technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
Public Compensation:
$179,338/year to $200,200/year + bonus + equity + benefits
