Required Skills:

Software Engineer Responsibilities:

1. Perform full-stack web and mobile application development with a variety of coding languages.

2. Create consumer products and features using the internal programming language Hack.

3. Implement web or mobile interfaces using XHTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

4. Work closely with our PM and design teams to define feature specifications and build products leveraging frameworks such as React & React Native.

5. Work closely with operations and infrastructure to build and scale back-end services.

6. Build report interfaces and data feeds.

7. Requires a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Foreign equivalent accepted. Requires 60 months of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or in a computer-related occupation. Experience must include 24 months of experience in each of the following:

8. 1. C, C++, C#, or Java
9. 2. Python, PHP, or Haskell
10. 3. Relational databases and SQL
11. 4. Software development tools: Code editors (VIM or Emacs), and revision control systems (Subversion, GIT, or Perforce)
12. 5. Linux, UNIX, or other *nix- like OS as evidenced by file manipulation, advanced commands, and shell scripting
13. 6. Core web technologies: HTML, CSS, or JavaScript
14. 7. Building highly-scalable performant solutions
15. 8. Data processing, programming languages, databases, networking, operating systems, computer graphics, or human-computer interaction
16. 9. Designing scalable distributed systems with established partition tolerance, consistency, and availability guarantees
17. 10. Applying algorithms and core computer science concepts to real world systems as evidenced by recognizing and matching patterns from different areas of computer science in production systems and,
18. 11. Distributed systems including sharding, consistency, and availability.

Public Compensation:

$214,032/year to $240,240/year + bonus + equity + benefits
