Meta Change Manager in New York, New York

Summary:

At Meta, Planning & Execution (P&E) is the organization responsible for end-to-end workforce planning and execution of the highest priorities in our People organization impacting Meta-wide employees. In this role, our team helps deliver impactful changes of the business by proactively planning and executing highly cross-functional work aligned to the strategies of our People teams (HR, Operations, Compensation & Benefits, Employee Experience, Recruiting, Engineering). The Change Manager will lead change initiatives by engaging, advising, and informing key internal & external stakeholders, including the design, development, and delivery of change strategies and plans that drive value for the stakeholders and drive desired business outcomes. Strong candidates will have experience assessing stakeholder impacts and developing and executing change, communications, knowledge management, and training strategies.

Required Skills:

Change Manager Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct change assessments to understand scope and scale of changes, impacts to stakeholders, and potential areas of resistance

  2. Identify change goals and success metrics and define high-level change strategies in partnership with other P&E roles (e.g., Program Management, Process & Product Solutions) and cross-functional partners

  3. Build and deliver actionable engagement, communications, knowledge management, and learning plans to enable adoption and achieve intended business outcomes

  4. Measure and monitor change success metrics and implement reinforcement strategies

  5. Demonstrate strong judgment and decision making in anticipation of project needs and develop innovative, sustainable solutions focused on adding value

  6. Understand initiatives that are running in parallel and identify potential dependencies, gaps, and/or opportunities to streamline

  7. Build strong cross-functional partnerships with key stakeholders and leaders such as Product, Recruiting, HRBPs, People Operations, and People Analytics

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in a directly related field, or equivalent practical experience

  2. 5+ years of experience leading change management initiatives

  3. Prosci ADKAR® Model certification or similar framework

  4. Proven interpersonal skills, including establishing rapport, building relationships, and fostering trust quickly at all levels of the organization

  5. Demonstrated experience to manage multiple, complex change initiatives simultaneously and working autonomously in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment

  6. Experience conducting stakeholder interviews or focus groups, assessing results, and making recommendations

  7. Experience delivering quality communications, including content creation and development of key messages

  8. Experience conducting learning / skill assessments and developing educational materials (e.g., instructor-led training sessions, how-to guides)

  9. Experience using office productivity and collaboration platforms (e.g., Google Apps, Microsoft Office)

  1. Knowledge in program and project management methodologies

  2. Facilitation and Human-Centered Design experience / certification

  3. Experience to perform process mapping (experience with Visio or MindMap software)

  4. Experience with Adobe Photoshop and InDesign (or other design suite) with skills to produce content in various, innovative formats including video

  5. Experience working with engineering/product and data analytics teams

Public Compensation:

$116,000/year to $166,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
