Meta Content Review Manager in New York, New York

Summary:

The Reality Labs Developer Ecosystem team plays a critical role in connecting Virtual Reality developers with consumers looking for innovative and immersive experiences. As the popularity of the Meta’s Quest platform continues to grow, we are seeking motivated individuals to join our team and help scale our app review operations. The Content Review Manager will be responsible for reviewing and resolving complex app review cases that have been escalated due to disputes or other issues. This includes conducting thorough investigations, analyzing data and policy implications, and communicating decisions clearly and effectively to internal and external stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have experience with app review processes and policies, as well as strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Required Skills:

Content Review Manager Responsibilities:

  1. Execute thorough testing processes for third-party submissions to the Meta Quest Store, ensuring that all technical and content policy requirements are met.

  2. Communicate app submission results to developers and internal stakeholders, providing 1:1 ticketed support as needed.

  3. Gather information from domain experts for new products and features and coordinate training for the testing team to ensure up-to-date knowledge and expertise.

  4. Propose self-service tools, documentation, or other improvements to the Quest Store submission and launch process to increase efficiency and reliability.

  5. Develop in-app policy documentation to ensure consistent and accurate enforcement of policies and drive innovation regarding processes and standard methodologies to operationalize our handling of developer violations.

  6. Create knowledge management documentation for consistent and scalable handling of processes and collaborate cross-functionally to develop training content.

  7. Evaluate special requests for feasibility and scoping, working with engineering and other stakeholders to unblock complex developer inquiries. Propose methods to standardize requests that come up frequently.

  8. Report on trends and advocate for platform-level solutions to common rejection reasons.

  9. Proactively participate in continuous improvement initiatives, identifying and suggesting axes of improvement to optimize app review processes and tools.

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. 3+ years of relevant experience in policy, program management, operations, growth, internet technology, or an equivalent function, demonstrating a proven understanding of industry trends and best practices.

  2. Proven experience to juggle multiple projects and fluctuating deadlines while maintaining meticulous attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.

  3. Proven communication skills, including the skill to clearly document complex bugs and the steps to reproduce them, as well as to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences.

  4. Proven developer advocacy skills, with proven experience helping app developers overcome challenges and providing guidance to help them succeed.

  1. BA/BS degree in a relevant field highly preferred, such as Business Administration, Operations Management, or Computer Science.

  2. Significant experience working in the technology industry, particularly in app review or trust and safety scaled operations, with a deep understanding of industry trends and best practices.

Public Compensation:

$101,000/year to $152,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
