Meta Product Program Manager in New York, New York

Summary:

Meta’s Product Content Operations team is a global group of content experts whose remit is to refine content experiences across platforms and products. The team is looking for a skilled Product Program Manager to drive processes and organize execution across a variety of projects and products. This position requires the ability to understand technical product needs and translate those into actionable direction and readout for a content-focused org. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational and communications skills with demonstrated skill in Excel/Google Sheets, data analytics, query experience and product tools, in addition to previous professional experience in content management, creation, or journalism.

Required Skills:

Product Program Manager Responsibilities:

  1. Day-to-day facilitation of project operations at the workstream level

  2. Design, incubation and iteration of org-wide systems and processes to assess and enable project effectiveness and efficiency

  3. Create both project- and org-level recommendations based on data and product metrics

  4. Lead and organize multiple XFN projects and forums

  5. Support PCO pillar leads and operations by identifying and driving innovative content strategy

  6. Support regular reviews of project progress and leadership readouts

  7. Editing and refining team communications

  8. Supporting all project workstreams with flex content management, as needed

  9. Ability to support weekend shifts, as needed

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. 6+ years of professional experience in content or social media management or journalism with combined experience in software or technology industry, partnering directly with product teams

  2. 4+ years of demonstrated project management experience in a technology, product or media environment

  3. Experience creating processes or programs that improve team efficiency and impact

  4. Must be extremely organized, detail oriented, proactive and resourceful

  5. Proven communication and relationship-building skills with peers and senior stakeholders

  6. Flexibility and agility in reprioritizing daily tasks

  7. Proficient with Google Suite, project management tools and software

  1. Fluency in multiple languages is a plus

  2. SQL and query experience are a plus

Public Compensation:

$159,000/year to $223,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
