Meta Facilities Manager, North America West in Redmond, Washington

Summary:

Meta is seeking an experienced facilities manager to lead Facilities Services for our 1MSF+ campus on the West Coast. This role is an individual contributor role while responsible for overseeing a large team of vendor service providers. This position will have a key role in embodying and supporting the community and culture of this site, driving efficiency through our services, implementing regional strategies to scale operations, and partnering closely with local business leadership to execute priorities. This campus is highly complex with many facilities operating 24/7. This is a full time on-site role that will will report to the Regional Facilities Manager, North America West.

Required Skills:

Facilities Manager, North America West Responsibilities:

  1. Full on-site oversight of facilities operations and services in leased and owned offices, inclusive of mission critical technical lab spaces and cleanroom environments.

  2. Work with Project Management, Real Estate & Facilities, Office Leaders, Workplace Design and hired Architects/Contractors to define scope of work for office new build, expansion, renovation projects to deliver best in class workplace.

  3. Change management oversight and coordination with all XFN partners, inclusive of changes in use and programming within technical/critical lab environments.

  4. Full partnership with Facilities Engineering team to support and ensure oversight onsite operations, strategy, programs and process to support 24/7 operations, critical systems backup, preventative maintenance, and asset management of all technical environments

  5. Coordinate office requirements for space planning, furniture, IT, and Security and other XFN partners

  6. Partner with Transportation, Events & Amenities, Moves and Planning leads in support of strategic plans and execution

  7. Track budgets and performance to plan associated with Facilities OpEx annual budgets, forecasting, and CapEx planning

  8. Support strong relationships with building property management companies and their vendors

  9. Ensure appropriate triage and execution of all facilities related tasks in alignment with KPI/SLA targets

  10. Lead client relationship management for all internal clients and ensure excellent and consistent levels of customer service delivery

  11. Significant role in working with site leadership to develop and foster Meta culture across multiple locations

  12. Provide direction to onsite IFM vendor team that includes facilities and engineering services.

  13. Lead campus resiliency planning and execution along with support to business critical/emergency situations to ensure minimum disruption to the business.

  14. Oversee alignment of standards in terms of hard and soft services including preventative maintenance delivery, janitorial, landscaping, moves-adds-changes process, shipping/receiving operations and process including management of IFM contract.

  15. Drive continuous improvement of processes and procedures within the facilities environment implement innovative programs, processes, and procedures that reduce short and long term operating costs while increasing productivity and the workplace experience

  16. Produce and communicate management reports and information (financial, KPI’s , SLA’s)

  17. Management of building code and regulatory compliance program in partnership with Environmental Health & Safety team

Minimum Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor’s degree with focus in business, facilities management, engineering, construction/project management, real estate, or property management.

  2. 10+ years experience in facilities management

  3. Experience to work effectively within deadlines in a fast-paced, growing environment

  4. Organizational skills coupled with attention to detail and follow-up

  5. Skilled communicator

  6. Experience in multi-office environment

  2. 12+ years in a leadership role, manager or individual contributor

  3. Experience with building code and regulatory compliance management

  4. Demonstrated of handling high level communication with leadership and heads of office

  5. Strong relationship management experience

  6. Strength in negotiating and influencing skills

  7. Prioritizes customer service and relationship building

  8. Masters degree in relative industry field

Public Compensation:

$132,000/year to $185,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
