Meta Meta Financial Technologies Security Program Manager in Washington, District Of Columbia

Summary:

We are creating an operationally effective and highly efficient “service of common concern” for all Integrity, Security, Support, and Operations (ISSO) Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) needs, ensuring Integrity, Security, Support, and Operations continue to meet global regulatory requirements and manage risk. Meta's ISSO GRC is the central engine driving risk management and compliance at the company, supporting Meta and the family of apps. The Meta Financial Technologies (MFT) Security Program Manager provides oversight and governance over the federated security services and capabilities which the MFT legal entities leverage to meet their financial regulatory requirements. It is the responsibility of the MFT Security Program Office to provide a common operating view of the implementation and execution of capabilities that will meet or exceed regulatory requirements and expectations.We’re seeking deeply experienced talent with financial technologies and security background to help drive efficiencies through automation, enable and safeguard Meta’s products and services which have a truly global scale. Required Skills:

Meta Financial Technologies Security Program Manager Responsibilities:

  1. Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to understand or identify defined work problems and program goals, obtain prioritized deliverables, and discuss program impact.

  2. Prioritize program goals, understand and translate other stakeholders’ needs into program goals and prioritized deliverables with minimal assistance, and contribute to decisions on prioritizing goals and deliverables.

  3. Define the scope of projects and develop, execute, and/or manage project plans for supported program(s)

  4. Review key metrics pertaining to a program, monitor potential metric deviations, and define corrective actions for critical deviations.

  5. Identify and implement opportunities for increased automation across the program factoring in emerging regulations and proactive detection of risks.

  6. Identify, communicate, and collaborate with relevant stakeholders within one or more teams to drive impact and work toward mutual goals.

  7. Establishment of learnings, best practices, standardized frameworks and tools across programs and projects.

  8. Preparation of the detailed program/project plan along with the “services of common concern.”

  9. Establishment of communication modes and cadences with various stakeholders, conducting planned and ad-hoc meetings with various stakeholders to ensure project milestones are on track and to communicate latest status to them, and sharing of meeting minutes and regular updates with various stakeholders.

  10. Identification of stakeholders and their roles, keeping them updated on the progress of the project, addressing their concerns, seeking and implementing their feedback.

  11. Identification of risks and detailing of mitigation plans to ensure that the projects stays on track, or are brought back on track in the event of delays or blockers.

  12. Engage with legal, policy, and engineering teams to translate regulatory requirements to technical implementation specifications.

  13. Perform credible technical challenge for the end to end security and IT governance across the Meta Financial Technologies products and services.

  14. Engage with engineering and product teams during early stage feature and product launch reviews to identify and consult on technical security risks.

  15. Support business travel on an as needed basis (up to 10%).

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. 7+ years of experience with designing, implementing, or operating GRC processes, tools, continuous controls monitoring solutions, data analytics and reporting.

  2. 10+ years program management experience in a corporate environment.

  1. Advanced degree and/or certification.

  2. 3+ years of experience in information security, cybersecurity, regulatory reporting, and/or technology risk including one or more security domains.

  3. 5+ years of experience supporting regulated financial entities in security or IT governance

Public Compensation:

$160,000/year to $221,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
